School & Library Visits/ Press Kit
Estelle Laure is the author of the critically-acclaimed This Raging Light and other books for young people, including the forthcoming Mayhem (St. Martin’s Press/Wednesday Books 2020) and Remember Me (St. Martin’s/Wednesday Books 2021). She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and in addition to writing her own books, is an editorial consultant, copywriter, and writing coach. She is usually to be found under either a cat, a dog, or a child. She lives in Taos, New Mexico with her family.
Estelle loves school visits. As an educator, an author, and someone who remembers childhood very well, she knows how to keep presentations dynamic and meaningful, and how to share information and passion without playing sage on the stage. She works with both middle school and high school.
